About us
Corcovado Arts offers short yet comprehensive courses and talks designed to provide
a broad understanding of the development of Western Art. Its aim is to establish
itself as a Centre for discussion and dissemination of knowledge within the art
lovers/enthusiasts community. In an extra-academic environment, all our sessions
are specially curated, enriched with contextualized images and lectured by seasoned
professors.
Our mission is to broaden people’s understanding on art and cultural matters
through continuous education programs covering different art history periods, artists
and styles meanwhile our vision is to enhance the experience of our participants
when exposed to visual arts in general, providing the necessary background knowledge
to allow them to connect the dots in between time, artists and art movements within
the complex artistic world.
Established in Singapore in 2013, Corcovado Arts has already fulfilled the needs
of hundreds of participants that are at the heart of our community platform.
